Visit the medieval town by foot. Admire the skyline of the town from “the old harbor” Almedalen, today a popular park. Walk through the picturesque Botanical Garden, and admire the 13th century Saint Maria Cathedral, before you visit Gotlands Museeum. The most prominent permanent exhibitions in the museum are the Picture Stone Hall, Spillings Hoard and “1361 – Battle for Gotland”, about the Danish invasion of Gotland in 1361.
